Best beaches in Zante
Zakynthos does not work as one single beach strip. The east and northeast are easier and sandier, the south belongs to the marine-park landscape, the north mixes boats with clearer water, and the west is more rugged and scenic.

Kalamaki and the Laganas Bay edge
This side works for softer sand and slower water time, but it comes with more conservation awareness because of the protected turtle coast.
