Walk Zakynthos Town properly

Use Solomos Square, Agios Markos, the waterfront and Alexandrou Roma as a real walking circuit instead of a quick pass-through.

Climb to Bohali and the hill viewpoints

Bohali, the Venetian Castle side and Strani give the best first reading of the island's scale and evening light.

Give one full day to the north

Volimes, Agios Nikolaos, the Blue Caves and nearby coves work best as a complete northern day rather than a rushed add-on.

Use the south for beach-and-nature rhythm

Kalamaki, Vasilikos, Gerakas and the wider Laganas Bay side are stronger when treated as a protected coastal landscape, not only as resort strips.

Take a southwest scenic day through Keri

Limni Keri, sea-cave routes, cliff edges and the Myzithres side bring one of the island's most memorable scenic combinations.
