Day one: Zakynthos Town and Bohali
Start with the town, Solomos Square, the waterfront axis and Bohali above it. This gives the island a clear mental map and keeps the first day light, cultural and readable.
Zante (Zakynthos) gets much better when you stop treating it as a random list of famous stops. The island works best when town, western drama, northern sea access and the southeastern beaches stay in separate, readable pieces.
Start with the town, Solomos Square, the waterfront axis and Bohali above it. This gives the island a clear mental map and keeps the first day light, cultural and readable.
Dedicate the second day either to the western cliff side and Navagio logic, or to the northern coast around Agios Nikolaos and the Blue Caves. Both deserve their own route and sea rhythm.
Use the third day for the southeastern side: Laganas Bay, turtle beaches, calmer sandy water and a softer pace that balances the previous day.
Keep one day for the town and one day for either the west or the north. The southeastern side works as an extra layer if your base and timing make it simple.
This page is built on stable geography, coastline logic, settlement structure, landmark identity, and cultural context cross-checked against public destination references.
Live ferry or flight timetables, sea conditions, seasonal services, beach facilities, and business details can change, so verify those separately before you travel.
Fix the town first, give the west or north their own route, and leave the calmer southeast for a different day.
